11 families homeless in Malabon fire

MANILA, Philippines — At least 11 families lost their homes in a fire that reached third alarm in Malabon on Wednesday.

The fire razed six houses along Tumariz street in Barangay Tugatog, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The fire started at around 2 p.m. Wednesday and was put out at around 3:45 p.m.

No one was reported killed in the fire, but two persons sustained cuts and abrasions.

The fire caused P144,000 worth of damage.
