QUEZON CITY, Philippines — More than P2 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu were confiscated in separate drug busts in Quezon City since Tuesday.

Police and anti-narcotics agents seized around 175 grams of shabu valued at P1.19 million from Amad Arajil, 33; Mico Jay Ferrer, 25, and Jesus Mendiola, 50, during a sting at the parkway of a shopping mall in Barangay Greater Lagro at past 7 p.m. 

The suspects were arrested after they allegedly sold P100,000 worth of drugs to a policeman posing as a drug buyer.

Records showed Arajil was arrested for the same offense but was released from prison through a plea bargaining deal.

Meanwhile, Wilfredo Sangilan, 36, was arrested in front of a fastfood restaurant in Novaliches yesterday afternoon. Police seized P1.36 million worth of shabu from the suspect. 

In Barangay Sauyo, around five grams of shabu with a street value of P34,000 were seized from Edmor Piodena, 49; John Paul Pandaan, 28; Gleen Salin, 24; Janine Cabiles, 29; Joseph Haldos, 49, and Darren Abrigo, 25, during another sting at past midnight yesterday. 

Ledge Francisco was arrested in a sting in Barangay Northbay Boulevard South-Proper, Navotas before dawn yesterday. Police seized 30 sachets of shabu with a street value of P129,200 and a .45 caliber Colt pistol from him.

In Taguig City, Datu Jun Pananggulon, 47, was allegedly caught carrying 1.5 grams of shabu valued at P10,200 by police conducting an anti-crime operation along Veterans Road in Barangay Western Bicutan at around 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Basilisa Domingo, 45, was about to visit her husband at the Pateros municipal jail when she was found carrying 1.5 grams of shabu, a strip of aluminum foil and a lighter by a jail officer who frisked her
