Japan to hire farmers, workers from Bulacan

Ric Sapnu - The Philippine Star

MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – The city government of Ayabe in Kyoto, Japan will hire farmers and other skilled workers from Bulacan.

Bulacan Gov. Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado bared this following a visit to his office by Ayabe City Mayor Zenya Yamazaki and several Japanese officials recently.

Alvarado said an overseas inspection team from Ayabe discussed the matter with provincial employment service office chief Beth Lopez Alonzo.

Yamazaki told Alvarado that he had informed the international advanced human resources development center of Japan about the plan to hire workers.

Alvarado thanked Yamazaki for choosing Bulakenyo farmers and workers, noting this will give job opportunities to the people and boost Philippine-Japan ties.
