Blackout to hit Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Six towns in Isabela will experience a 10-hour blackout today, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) announced yesterday.

Lilibeth Gaydowen, NGCP-Northern Luzon spokesperson, said Roxas, San Manuel, Mallig, Quirino, Quezon, Burgos and Aurora would be affected by the power outage.

Gaydowen said the power interruption would pave the way for the replacement of wood poles and line hardware along the Gamu-Roxas 69-kiloVolt transmission line.
