Cop gunned down in Pangasinan

INFANTA, Pangasinan, Philippines – A police officer was shot dead by unidentified assailants here on Monday.

Police Officer 3 Steve Lacap, 35, was found with a gunshot to the head beside his motorcycle in Barangay Bamban.

Lacap was on his way to work when he was killed, according to case investigator Police Officer 2 Marvin Bucat.

Probers recovered a bullet shell at the crime scene.
