MANILA, Philippines - Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino on Monday challenged the sports car owner, who allegedly mauled and dragged a traffic enforcer with his vehicle, to name his passenger during the incident.
"The passenger of Mr. Ingco could shed light on the incident considering that the passenger was just a few inches away from the Maserati driver. Either umawat siya or tumulong siya, in that case the passenger is also liable," Tolentino said.
Ingco reportedly went into hiding after the supposed mauling incident, abandoning the vehicle at the parking area of his last known address in New Manila, Quezon City.
Based on initial investigations, Ingco was with someone when he punched and dragged MMDA traffic enforcer Jorbe Adriatico several meters with his Maserati.
Ingco only let go of Adriatico when he got Adriatico's mobile phone, which the MMDA enforcer used to video tape the traffic violation of the Maserati driver.
Adriatico sustained a broken nose and bruises from the incident.
