PDEA officer slain in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines - An information officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was killed in Cebu City Saturday night. 

Jesus Tabanao was shot four times while standing in front of a spa along Escario street, according to PDEA spokesman Derrick Arnold Carreon. 

Carreon said the gunman alighted from a motorcycle before shooting the victim at past 11 p.m. 

The Cebu City police is investigating the incident.
