Pilot loses car to thieves

MANILA, Philippines – A 50-year-old pilot told police thieves stole his vehicle, which he had parked outside his house in Barangay San Roque, Quezon City Friday, an official said yesterday.

Antonio Roehl Oropesa, who works for Cebu Pacific, allegedly parked his vehicle (AHA-6693) in front of his house at around 8 a.m. on Thursday but discovered it was missing at around 4 a.m. on Friday, Cubao police station commander Superintendent Marlo Martinez said.

Martinez said the case was transferred to the Quezon City Police District’s anti-carnapping unit.
