2 alleged drug dealers shoot each other

MANILA, Philippines - Two suspected drug dealers were hospitalized after they reportedly shot each other in Muntinlupa City yesterday.

Police identified them as Aldrin Cuarto, 25, of Barangay Bayanan; and Candido Mercado Jr. of Barangay Holy Spirit in Quezon City.

The two men were reportedly in the house of Rosario Gomez in Bayanan when they shot each other following an argument, allegedly over the illegal drug trade, at around 7 a.m.

Investigators said they recovered a 9mm pistol, a .38 caliber revolver and six shells from the crime scene.
