MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) yesterday said that Metro Manila and some areas of Luzon will have good weather today.

In its 5 a.m. forecast yesterday, the weather bureau said an intertropical convergence zone would affect Visayas and Mindanao. Pagasa said Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao would have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific canceled five Manila-Caticlan-Manila flights yesterday due to bad weather. The cancellations affected flights 5J893, 5J894, 5J919, 5J920, and 5J892.
