Avoid Ayala tunnel's northbound lane - MMDA

Manila, Philippines -  The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists yesterday to avoid the Ayala tunnel’s northbound lanes along EDSA in Makati City, which will be closed for repair until Monday morning.

The MMDA said the Manila Water Co. Inc. detected a leak and repairs were scheduled to start at 10 p.m. last night.

According to the MMDA, two lanes will be closed to traffic, and only one lane will be passable to motorists. All of the tunnel’s northbound lanes will be open to traffic by 6 a.m. on June 11.
