Dumlao, Mancao to testify vs colleague

MANILA, Philippines -  Department of Justice prosecutors said yesterday they will present former Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force members Glenn Dumlao and Cezar Mancao II as witnesses against their former colleague, Michael Ray Aquino, who will be tried for the November 2000 murders of publicist Salvador Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito.

The pre-trial – wherein all parties will agree on the procedure for presentation of evidence – will be held on Sept. 14, presided by Manila Regional Trial Court Judge Thelma Bunyi-Medina.

Aquino’s lawyer, Joel Bretaña, said they will also have Dumlao and Mancao testify for the defense as “hostile witnesses.”
