Worker found dead

A construction worker, missing for the last two days, was found dead floating in a rain-swollen creek yesterday morning in Valenzuela City.

The body of Jose Botecario, 32, married, resident of Barangay Camarin, Caloocan City was found already in an advanced state of decomposition. The body was found around 6 a.m. inside the Plastic City compound in Barangay Veinte Reales.

Police said that last Saturday, the victim and his friends decided to have a drink they waited for the rain to stop. The victim was last seen plunging into waist-deep waters under heavy rains. – Jerry Botial
