CEBU, Philippines - Members of a family in Hermag Village in Barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City woke up at 4 a.m. on Christmas Eve to find P100,000 worth of jewelry and P12,500 in foreign currencies gone.

Frince Echivirri, 51, told police he found the door knob of the master’s bedroom and a window in one of the toilets on the ground floor destroyed.

Reported missing were a Tag Heur watch worth P38,000, two gold rings worth P60,000, a pair of gold earrings worth P3,500, a gold necklace with pendant worth P8,000, Hongkong dollars equivalent to P8,000, Malaysian ringgit equivalent to P 1,000, and Singaporean dollars equivalent to P3,500.  (FREEMAN)
