Wanted man falls

CEBU, Philippines - Police yesterday arrested in barangay Labogon, Mandaue City one of the most wanted persons in Dumalinao town in Zamboanga del Sur.

Eleazar Pecalioga, of barangay Rebokon, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, was served a warrant of arrest for a murder case. 

Chief of police of the Basak station P Sr./Insp Wilson Abot said he learned from the police in Mindanao that Pecalioga is wanted for murder having allegedly killed a certain Bienvinido Codilla.

Codilla’s son, an engineer, also telephoned Abot to tell him Pecalioga had murdered his father over a land dispute.

After the crime was committed, Pecalioga went into hiding in Manila.

Pecalioga arrived in Labogon several weeks ago and stayed at his brother’s house. (FREEMAN)
