Rep. Durano to give P9M to Compostela

CEBU, Philippines - Fifth district Rep. Ramon “Red” Durano VI will give P9.1 million to Compostela town to finance different priority projects.

The money will come from the congressman’s Priority Development Assistance Fund.

Rep. Durano personally informed Mayor Quiño and members of the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Antonette Dangoy about the availability of funds for projects.

“Daghan kaayo nga proyekto ang gitinguha unta ni Mayor Quiño apan natanggong kini gumikan kay wala man dayon sila makalingkod,” Durano said.

The fifth district solon said that when he visited the different barangays in Compostela town recently, barangay captains and other officials complained about dilapidated roads and the delayed delivery of basic services because election problems took a long time to be resolved.

Durano hopes the amount will help realize the different projects lined up by the administration.

“Dako gayud kaayo ang among kalipay nga nagtagad gayud si Congressman Red sa among problema sa lungsod sa pagka karon,” Quiño said. – (FREEMAN)
