Marco Polo Davao has new F&B manager

MANILA, Philippines - Marco Polo Hotels and Halifax Davao Hotel Inc. have appointed Patrick Capili as the new food and beverage manager of Marco Polo Davao beginning this month.

Capili brings more than 10 years of experience in hotel and banquet management to the position. Previously, he was outlet and banquet sales manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles South in California. He also served as banquet sales manager at the Ports ‘O Call Waterfront Dining, also in California.

In those management positions, Capili focused on event sales and management, stock control, staff rostering, and banqueting.

Capili’s extensive skill sets include developing guidelines for food and labor costs; creating F&B sales projections and budgets; planning, assigning and directing work; and appraising performance, among others. He also has expert sales negotiating and closing skills.

Values close to Capili’s heart are quality control standards, safe work practices, and guest satisfaction, which he considers ways to service excellence, a top priority in Marco Polo Davao.
