MANILA, Philippines - During the 5th anniversary of the PTRCA last December 2013, Porsche donated €50, 000 to Don Bosco Mondo worldwide to help the victims of the super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in the Philippines. The sum is earmarked for use to rebuild schools in the affected provinces.
For its part, the PTRCA announced it will be choosing its 12th class of scholars from the affected provinces giving young people from this region a rare opportunity to be Porsche trained, and to eventually secure a job as Service Mechatronics in the Porsche global network.
