MANILA, Philippines - Troy Silvestre, Frank Caña, Aldrie Acosta and the Hagonoy Art Group prove that junk can be transformed into art in “Cuisine & Artistry Combined,” which is on view until Jan. 5, 2013 at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club.
Acosta engages the audience with his watercolor paintings employing impressionism and surrealism. Frank Caňa expresses himself through abstract, while the Hagonoy Art Group depicts realism with rustic themes of their hometown, Bulacan, from which springs their inspiration and creativity.
