Sara: Someone looks ‘like a corpse’ at 68

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte shared how she keeps her fresh look, taking digs at President Marcos’ appearance.

“I’m not targeting anyone… Because we know someone who is only 68 but looks like a corpse,” Duterte said in The Hague, Netherlands.

She said she now has an awareness about facial aging.

“There’s no difference with me. Starting in 2022 until now. Maybe it’s just increased skin care. Because you get older, right? It’s hard when you’re only 38, and then you look 68. That’s why there are things that dermatologists write about skin care,” Duterte added.

Marcos has assured the public that he is healthy, even quipping that he is trying to maintain his current weight.

He has been subject to a torrent of online speculation about his health, which the Palace has dismissed.

In January 2026, Marcos was diagnosed with diverticulitis. The President was hospitalized and had to withdraw from several public events due to the illness.
Rumors about his health status have persisted on social media ever since.
