LPG prices down for 5th straight month
MANILA, Philippines — Prices of cooking gas are going down for the fifth straight month this September.
Petron has announced that it will implement starting today a P1.75 per kilogram rollback in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.
It said AutoLPG prices are likewise being reduced by P0.98 per liter.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,” Petron yesterday said.
Other retailers of LPG have yet to announce their price adjustments as of press time.
Prices of 11-kilogram household LPG ranged from P828 to P1,000 based on the Department of Energy’s price monitoring in the National Capital Region from Aug. 1 to 12.
