'Jenny' seen to leave Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday evening
"Jenny" weakened into a tropical depression on Tuesday night but PAGASA said it might intensify into a tropical storm again as it moves away from the Luzon landmass.

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 remained up over parts of Luzon on Wednesday morning as Tropical Depression Jenny moves west northwest away from Northern Luzon.

According to PAGASA's 8 a.m. Severe Weather Bulletin, TCWS No. 1 is still hoisted over Cagayan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, 
the northern portion of Zambales, and the province of Tarlac.

"Jenny" weakened into a tropical depression on Tuesday night and had maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph as of Wednesday morning.

PAGASA said "Jenny" was 215 km west northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan as of 7 a.m. and moving west northwest at 35 kph.

The tropical depression is forecast to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday afternoon or evening, PAGASA said, adding "Jenny" may gain strength and become a tropical storm as it moves away from the Luzon landmass.
