MANILA, Philippines — Breast cancer can be cured.

This was the battle cry during the “Celebreast” fundraiser held last May 20 at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom.

Alarmed with the growing statistics of death among Filipino women due to lack of education and resources, Dr. Norman San Agustin, a renowned oncologist with 40 years of medical practice in the US, made breast cancer awareness and prevention his passion project.

Marginalized women can soon access free mammogram tests through “Mammo on Wheels,” which will be visiting barangays in Cavite in partnership with De La Salle Medical Center-Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Donations and sponsorships from individuals and corporations that care about protecting women against the world’s No. 1 killer may inquire at the Asian Breast Center, 8th floor, Centuria Medical Center, Century City, Makati City.
