MANILA, Philippines — Two low pressure systems inside country’s area of responsibility will bring rains over Luzon, while another approaches the Philippine waters, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

One low pressure area was spotted 195 kilometers southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur, while the other was seen 335 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan.

These two weather systems have a low chance of developing into tropical cyclones but their trough or extension will bring cloudy skies and scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

A third LPA was spotted 1,120 kilometers east of Mindanao. The state weather bureau earlier said it may enter the country’s jurisdiction Wednesday.

It is also not expected to intensify into a tropical cyclone. — Gaea Katreena Cabico
