6/58 lotto pot nears P1 billion

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot for the 6/58 Ultra Lotto is nearing the P1-billion mark after no one won the draw last Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan said the estimated jackpot in Sunday’s draw is expected to increase to P935 million as no one correctly guessed the Ultra Lotto six-digit combination 01-30-27-36-49-12.

The last draw had a jackpot of P903,290,152 –the highest in the history of Philippine lotto.

Balutan said 85 bettors won a consolation prize of P157,970 after correctly guessing five of the six winning numbers.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 online lottery game is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. No one has won since February when two bettors shared a jackpot of P331.9 million.
