Duterte family in full force for SONA

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — President Duterte is getting the full support of his family when he delivers his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) before Congress today.

All the children of the President will be in attendance as well as his former wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, and his current partner Cielito Avanceña.

Duterte’s daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, earlier said her mother Elizabeth would attend the SONA to extend support to the President.

Meanwhile, Avanceña would also be joining the President together with their daughter Veronica, popularly known as Kitty.

Special Assistant to the President Christopher Go confirmed that all of Duterte’s children would attend the SONA today.

Aside from Sara and Kitty, the President’s sons Paolo and Sebastian would also be there for their father in this afternoon’s SONA.
