MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte is fine despite a migraine attack that caused him to vomit on his flight back to Manila from Seoul, a Malacañang official assured the public yesterday.

Duterte suffered a migraine attack on a commercial flight to Manila on Tuesday and asked his staff to apologize to fellow passengers for not going around to greet them, presidential spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said.

“This is the first time he had a migraine attack on the plane,” Roque told reporters.

He said the President has been suffering migraines since he met a motorcycle accident a few years ago.

“This has been a recurring problem of the President. He suffers from migraine occasionally, but it comes and goes,” Roque said.

“I know many people with problems with migraine, that is really the nature of migraine,” he added.
