MANILA, Philippines — Actress Liza Soberano is truly settling in the Hollywood life following her feature film debut "Lisa Frankenstein," but the transition took some adjustments, including to her skincare routine.

Liza was back in the Philippines care of a Korean skincare brand, briefly stepping away from promoting her new movie.

In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Liza shared some major changes she applied to her skincare habits the past few months given her busy schedule.

In preparation for the Los Angeles weather which can get quite dry, Liza had to switch from the kind of skincare she had been using for some time now.

"I was using Skin Reveal, one of my favorite lines, but I had to switch over to the Green Caviar line for my trip to LA because it's the most moisturizing one I find for myself," Liza said.

She added that having to use a lot of sunblock given Los Angeles' dry and sunny weather, and doing so allows an extra layer of protection.

Philstar.com also asked Liza what step she wished to add to her current skincare routine, even with her busy schedule.

"I wish I could learn how to gua sha actually, maybe that would help," Liza said after giving the question some thought. "I don't know how... I have one and I've tried doing it, but I don't think I'm good at it. I don't see the effects other people are getting."

Gua sha is a skincare method that involves applying pressure and scraping one's skin with a tool for pain relief, reduced tension, and improved circulation.
