BTS denies involvement in Michael Jackson tribute album

MANILA, Philippines — K-pop boy band BTS has no involvement in a planned tribute album for Michael Jackson, the group's label announced.
Producer Paddy Dunning, owner of Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland, claimed that BTS visited the studio to record a track for an upcoming tribute album for Jackson.
According to Dunning, Jackson previously visited the studio three years before his 2009 death, but the songs he recorded there were never released.
BTS' label, Big Hit Entertainment, denied the claim in a statement after the supposed news went viral.
"BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor taken part in any recording sessions at the location for the mentioned project. The group is not involved in the tribute album in any capacity," Big Hit said.

The label added that it is conducting appropriate measures to prevent the spread of inaccurate information.
The only album BTS is currently working on is the group's first release since all members completed their mandatory military service.
The comeback album is set for a March 2026 release, and it would be the first piece of new music from the boy band since 2022's "Proof."
BTS released its first-ever live studio album "Permission to Dance On Stage" last month. It features 22 tracks from the group's 2021 tour of the same name.
