Ex 'PBB' housemate Rita Gaviola marries non-showbiz partner

MANILA, Philippines — Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Rita Gaviola is now married to her non-showbiz partner Jeric Ong.

Rita, who was previously known and became famous as “Badjao Girl,” announced that she is married.

She posted some of the highlights of her and Jeric’s wedding in a same-day edited video on her Facebook account.

“Mrs. Ong nako thank you much po sa lahat ng naging parte sa mahalangang araw nato,” she captioned the post.

The couple's wedding took place at the Cathedral Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd in Quezon City.

Following the wedding ceremony, the reception was held at the Artan Garden in Novaliches.

“The best thing that happened in my life!” she said on Facebook.

It was October 30, 2023 when the former "PBB" housemate announced her engagement to Jeric via Instagram.

“This is it," she wrote.
