TV host Anjo Pertierra set to wed musician Eunice Jorge

MANILA, Philippines — “Unang Hirit” host Anjo Pertierra is set to marry his fiancée Eunice Jorge, the vocalist of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) band Gracenote.

Before their scheduled wedding this coming Sunday, April 12, the future husband and wife were given a lavish surprise on “Unang Hirit.”

In the live episode of the program last April 8, hosts Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Kaloy Tingcungco revealed a pre-wedding surprise.

The program prepared a despedida de soltera y soltero or a combined bachelor and bachelorette party for Anjo and Eunice.

Also present on GMA 7's morning show were the parents of the soon-to-be bride and groom, who gave them messages and advice.

Anjo and Eunice also received special gifts from their “Unang Hirit” family.

The two first crossed paths during the “Unang Hirit Campus Tour” stop in 2024, which took place at Bestlink College of the Philippines in Quezon City.

That’s where their love story began until they announced their engagement in July 2025 on Eunice’s birthday.

The singer said that she once had a dream about an intimate moment with a man she didn’t know. This inspired her to write the song “Respeto” in 2012.

A few years later, she realized that the man she was with in the said dream was none other than Anjo.
