‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ part 2? Cathy Garcia-Molina reacts
MANILA, Philippines — Blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina has revealed that she wanted to direct a movie starring Kapamilya love team Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
Speaking with the media during the recent “Hello, Love, Goodbye” blog conference, “Direk” Cathy said she finds the young love team perfect for romantic comedy movies.
“Sabi ko sa Star Cinema, gusto kong i-direct ‘yung dalawa,” the director shared.
The blockbuster director, however, only has two movies in her list before she takes a leave.
“Wala na nga lang slot. ‘Di ba last two na lang ako? Maybe when I come back, kung sila'y willing pa rin,” she assured.
“Pero cute na cute ako don sa dalawa. Napanood ko pa lang sila sa 'PBB,' natutuwa na ko sa kanila. Sabi ko, '’Tong dalawa cute cute nito, meron to.' Kaya lang sila pang-romcom all the way. Para balik tayo sa Sarah and John Lloyd days natin,” she added.
When asked if she wants to do a “Hello, Love, Goodbye” sequel, Cathy said she is not closing her doors.
“Well, I'm not closing my doors. Anything is possible. In all of my films, kung gusto mong dugtungan, pwede naman. Tignan natin. Who knows? ‘Pag balik ko. But definitely not before I leave,” she said.
