MANILA, Philippines — A week after she was crowned 67th Miss Universe, Filipina beauty queen Catriona Gray is still expressing her gratitude to Filipinos.

In her Christmas message posted on holiday eve, Catriona reiterated that it was an honor for her to carry Philippines across her heart.

She once again expressed gratitude how she was able to bring happiness to Filipinos this Christmas with her pageant win.

“I am grateful for so, so much. This year all my prayers were answered,” Catriona said.

“More so, I am so thankful I get to be with my loving parents and through Ms Universe, be able to bring joy to 104 million Filipinos this Christmas. Maligayang Pasko Philippines! Mahal ko kayo,” she greeted.

Catriona, the fourth Filipina crowned Miss Universe, is currently in New York City to fulfill her titular duties. She will return to the country early next year for her grandhomecoming.
