James Yap's partner answers netizen's child support query
MANILA, Philippines — James Yap’s girlfriend, Michela Cazzola, has replied to a netizen’s comment regarding Kris Aquino’s allegations that James is not providing enough child support for his son, Bimby.
In an Instagram family picture posted by Cazzola on April 23, a day after Kris released her social media rants, a certain @manalllopez asked James’s Italian partner: “Michela we know you're a decent classy and kind lady why don't you tell james to provide for bimby's needs, it's in the Law.”
To this, Michela answered: “@manalllopez I mind my business and so should you, don’t you think that would be the most appropriate thing to do?”
Many fans of the Asian Development Bank secretariat specialist agreed with her. A certain @fpnanggan_18, for example, said: “Exactly, people nowadays dont understand how to be appropriate. Keep going mic, enjoy life and dont mind them. Sometimes the only way to escape from sadness and bitterness is to bully someone..God bless..”
Netizen @manalllopez then replied: “it's the reputation of your partner and the father of your kids and also james's Dignity that's being question in here but. . . . Whatever.”
While some netizens do not agree with @manalllopez, others, like @leonybataga, said: “@manalllopez, very true!!!!”
“@manalllopez, she can advice him to do the right thing but it is up to @jamesyap18 to actually man up and do something for his son.as long as her kids are well taken care of she is fine.its not her responsibility at all.its between him,kris and their son to settle their differences and come to an agreement,” added @itsmercharnell.
Michela, on the other hand, told @manalllopez: “It’s the perception you created in your mind, it’s not necessarily the reality.”
Like other netizens, @manalllopez praised how Michela handled the issue: “@michelacazzola love your answer. Hope this will also be in the news because let's admit james's name is destroyed right now, thanks for your understanding and clarification, I don't care other people's replies in here, thanks for your response to me.”
Michela then told @manalllopez that she is not seeking publicity: “@manalllopez actually nothing newsworthy from me, am just saying that reality is complex in general, and I don’t like to judge people. Who are we to judge?”
Many netizens in the thread described Michela as “classy” in handling the situation. As netizen @n_moviehouse said: “@michelacazzola nice handling..what you say is a reflection of ur state of mind..and i can safely say you are at peace, in a nice place, pragmatic, and a positive person..agree, everything is about perception..while others may perceive a post negatively, you perceive the situation in a positive way..kitang kita ang class at practical but happy disposition ni ms. mic. im not patronizing, just saying:-).”
