GMA Artist Center holds Christmas fans day

MANILA, Philippines – The Kapuso talent management arm, GMA Artist Center, held a special Christmas celebration with fans and supporters last Dec. 23 at the Studio 7 of the GMA Network Annex.

The Master Showman himself, German “Kuya Germs” Moreno, opened the fans day with a short message and was humbled by the warm acknowledgment of the audience. He was thankful for their support and promised to offer more to the showbiz industry in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Top One Project (TOP) spiced up the event with their pop covers and serenaded the fans with their single Paggising. The dance number by Julian Trono sent the fans on a high. Bet Ng Bayan finalists Hannah Precillas, Kai Atienza, Katherine Castillo and Ralf King also gave powerful song renditions.

The young pool of stars fronted by Barbara Miguel expressed their thanks and greetings for the holidays. Starstruck VI Ultimate Survivors Migo Adecer and Klea Pineda as well as the reality show’s other finalists were also given the chance to thank their fans through a performance.

Meanwhile, James Wright and Rocco Nacino also performed and were joined by some fans in their song numbers. 3logy also wooed the audience with sweet tunes. It was, indeed, a great opportunity for the fans to bond with their Kapuso idols.

During the program, raffle entries were also drawn by the stars, with the fans receiving different prizes and the chance to take selfies with their favorite artists.

Two batches of GMA Artist Center Workshop took turns in heating up the dance floor. Adding excitement to the fans day was the song number of the love team of Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid.

One of the event’s main highlights was a video greeting from the Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, drawing wild cheers from the fans. His busy schedule got in the way of being physically present. Earlier that day, he was at the grand parade of the Metro Manila Film Festival for his movie entry, My Bebe Love.

The GMA Artist Center Christmas Fans Day was a success as the holiday spirit being celebrated and shared by both the GMA stars and their fans.
