Colombia Filmfest honors Jeffrey Jeturian

MANILA, Philippines - The 31 Festival de Cine de Bogota (31st Bogota International Film Festival) bestowed on director Jeffrey Jeturian (leftmost) the Icono Precolombino Award during the closing ceremony of the eight-day filmfest on Oct. 30 in Colombia. Five of Jeffrey’s widely-acclaimed films were screened at the event as homage: Pila Balde (1999), Tuhog (2000), Kubrador (2006), Bisperas (2011) and Ekstra (2013). — CELSO DE GUZMAN CAPARAS
