Emma's charity show tonight
MANILA, Philippines - Emma Cordero (photo) will celebrate her 35th year in the music ‘biz with the charity concert, Ai Wo Agetai (I Wanna Give Love) tonight at the Manila Hotel.
Special guests are Isaku Yokogawa, a full-blooded Japanese adept in singing popular Tagalog songs; and Emma’s younger sister, Florie.
Emma is based in Kukuoka, Japan, where she has released several albums produced by VOAA Music International. She has been touring key cities in Asia, the US and Australia all these years.
An active civic leader, Emma is the International Affairs chairman of Manila Sunrise Lions Club District 301-A1; and Special Projects & Entertainment director of the Golden Mother & Father Foundation.
She has received numerous awards including the Outstanding Recording Artist and International Entertainer and the International Performer of the New Millennium awards.
Emma will also have a charity show in Tokyo on Nov. 15 and a concert in Osaka on Dec. 14. Next year, she will hold a show to benefit scholars of Our Lady of Fatima de San Pedro School.
