In a message sent to Philippine Entertainment portal, Amy clarified that “never kong sinabi sa management na magtanggal ng tao sa Face To Face.”

Following this is her narration of what really made her decide to leave the network.

“What happened really ay gusto nila mag-taping ng four episodes a day, at sinabi ko lang naman na di ko pa kaya since kakapanganak ko pa lang at first time ko na-CS [caesarean],” Amy recalled.

"After nun, nagparinig na sa FB [Facebook]. Ano naman ang laban ko dun?” she added.

"Kaya nag-resign na lang ako kasi di ko na kaya ang ganung betrayal.”

Though she didn’t disclose who the person she’s referring to, she said that she’s happy that “Mas pinili ko ang peace of mind kesa kumita ako.”

Though she admitted that she felt bad because “ako pa ginawa nilang masama after all ng mga paghihirap namin together noong nagsisimula pa lang ang show na iyan.

"Pero ganun siguro, hanggang dun na lang ako,” she said.

“At the end of the day, alam mo yung pag di ka na masaya, talagang mas pipiliin mo ang peace of mind kesa financial gain,” Amy added. "Kaya ako na lang umiwas para na rin happy lahat.”

Amy was supposed to host a new show, “Face the People” with Gelli de Belen, who took her place as a host in “Face to Face” when she gave birth.

Though she left the network, like what TV5’s statement said, they parted ways without burning bridges.

She also adds that even the big bosses know about what she went through.

“Even our president, Sir Noel [Lorenzana], naunawaan niya how hurt I was sa nangyari. Kaya sabi niya, it's also a good time for me to heal,” she said.

Amy added: “Di natin masasabi, malay mo, after three years, Kapatid ulit ako.”

"Kaya maayos kami naghiwalay nila Sir Noel, Ma'am Wilma [Galvante], Ma'am Luchi [Cruz-Valdes], at ni Sir Perci [Intalan] at sir Bob [Barreiro]... alam ang totoong nangyari,” she continued. “Too much lang yung pain and hurt ko, felt so betrayed.”

"Kaya mas pinili ko nang umiwas para, alam mo na, happy na lahat,” Amy added.

Amy also confirmed that she’s back to ABS-CBN, and that she’ll reprise the show “The Singing Bee” with Roderick Paulate.
