Libiran designed Megan Young’s ‘victory’ gown

MANILA, Philippines - It was Francis Libiran who designed the gown that Megan Young wore during her coronation as 2013 Miss World. The gownâ€™s serpentine cut exposes her height. It is made of coral tulle fabric and the intricate embroidery patterns were inspired by the coral reefs of the Philippines. Every strand of the embroidery was encrusted with fine Swarovski crystals.
