Derek laughs off rumored Cristine-Rayver sex video

MANILA, Philippines - Derek Ramsay said he paid no attention when reports came out that his girlfriend Cristine Reyes allegedly has a sex video with her ex-boyfriend Rayver Cruz.

A text message blast circulated recently, providing the link the website that supposedly contains the video. Members of the entertainment media were among those who received the text message.

The Kapatid actor said he also got the said text message and merely “laughed about it.”

“I didn’t bother opening it. I know what it is. I didn’t even bother,” Derek said during the press conference for Dunkin Donuts on Thursday, September 26.

Derek added he didn’t even ask Cristine about the alleged sex video, adding he trusts his girlfriend.

“I don’t even know if she knows. She didn’t speak to me about it. I didn’t speak to her about it. Hindi na namin kailangan pag-usapan yun,” he said.

The “No Other Woman” star further explained, “And even if there is (a video), it doesn’t matter because the past is the past.”

Derek and Cristine became a couple just last August. However, due to their busy schedules, Derek admits they don’t get to have quality time together.

The Kapatid actor is currently doing two drama shows for TV5 and a movie for Viva Films, while Cristine is working on the ongoing primetime drama “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.”

Although Cristine remains close to his former boyfriends—particularly Dennis Trillo and “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” co-star Rayver Cruz—Derek said he’s not the type to get jealous.

“Hindi ako yung selosong type, e. Not at all,” he said.
