Dreams, dreamers on Ricky's show

MANILA, Philippines - This Is Your Moment is the episode title of GMA News TV program Life and Style with Ricky Reyes (LSWRR), 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays.

To be featured are true stories of people whose dreams came true. Interesting, heartwarming and beautiful tales will serve as inspiration to other dreamers.

• Finalist of the musical reality show Protégé from Davao, Lovely Embuscado (photo, with Ricky) used to sing to her pet piglets. Life has changed for Lovely when her mentor Jaya chose her from other hopefuls to represent the Mindanao region. And look at her now.

• Ricky is a gourmet and a culinary expert. In the kitchen of Chef Toni, he concocts delicious, healthy and simple dishes that are good for the heart.

• A mechanic dreams of experiencing the thrill and excitement of watersports like jetski, para-sailing, kayaking and banana boat. Courtesy of LSWRR, the guy’s long cherished dream comes true.

•Story No. 4: A kind-hearted and conscientious firefighter saves for a trip outside Manila as bonding moment with his loved ones. His fairy godmother wields her magic wand and — presto! The man and his family are transported to Calatagan’s Golden Sunset Resort and Spa for a free vacation during one weekend.

•Story No. 5: A gay diehard fan of Ricky toils very hard to establish his own beauty salon but to no avail. The dreamer is gifted by his idol with a salon complete with equipment and other supplies.

•Story No. 6: For the female graduates, the segment New You, Make Over Like No Other offers free hairstyle and make-up for the graduation rites and grand ball.
