Kapamilya stars appeal to help Sendong victims

MANILA, Philippines - While most celebrities are busy with their Christmas shopping and Holiday escapades, Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis chose to spend a night sharing their blessings with the families in the different barangay of Cagayan de Oro City who were all affected by Typhoon Sendong.

Kris, Vice, Angel and Anne visited the typhoon-stricken areas of CDO and handed out food, water and toiletries to the residents who mostly have lost everything including their properties, livelihood, homes and even their loved ones.

Kris said that they made sure to help. “It’s nice to know that even my househelps joined us in the relief operations. They were up until four in the morning preparing our packed goods,” she said.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya: Operation Sendong is seeking for in-kind and cash donations to aid the families affected by the tragedy.

In-kind donations like canned goods, rice, noodles, biscuits, coffee, sugar, clothes, blankets, mats, and medicines can be brought to Sagip Kapamilya, ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. Mother Ignacia cor. For international cash donations, Sagip Kapamilya’s BDO dollar account number is 393-008-1622 with a swift code, BNORPHMM.

Televiewers can also deposit their donation through PNB and BPI which both carry the account name ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya.
