Angeline Quinto now a Pop Superstar

MANILA, Philippines - Angeline Quinto (right, with Sharon Cuneta) snagged 90.88 percent of the audience votes to become the first-ever winner of Sharon Cuneta’s Star Power: Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar last Feb. 20 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

The Pop Belter of Manila performed Jonathan Manalo’s composition Patuloy Ang Pangarap and won P1-M, SUV Hover from Great Wall Cars, Sony Entertainment showcase, JMK diamond jewelry set and a recording contract from Star Records. Sharon also announced that all Star Power 5 finalists will become mainstays of ASAP Rocks beginning Feb. 27.

Other finalists are (below, from left) Akiko Solon of Cebu; Monica Sacay (Leyte); Krissel Valdez (Davao) and K-La Rivera (Canada).
