Merk's shows in July
MANILA, Philippines - Merk’s Bar Bistro perks up by staging Filipino performers this month.
Acoustic trio Metro Jive livens up Mondays with its pop and folk tunes while Noah’s Ark takes center stage on July 13 and 27. Noel Cabangon performs on July 6 and 20.
Merk and Friends plays on Wednesdays, topbilled by Richard Merk, Romy Posadas with vocalist Judith Banal.
Retro band The Music Making Company plays on July 15 and 29 while Route 70 plays on Fridays.
Catch Oras Locas at Merk’s with Amelia and lawyer Ferdie Topacio with Ricky Gonzales on July 8 and 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Electromaniacs follows at 9 p.m.
Watch and enjoy the music of Hi-way 54 on July 10, 17, 24 and 31.
Happiest Happy Hour at Merk’s top bills keyboardist Romy Posadas on Wednesdays while lawyer Ferdie Topacio performs on Thursdays with Ricky Gonzales. J-Co plays on July 23 while guitarist Chris Carandang performs on July 16 and 30.
