Santisima destroys Nardo in Balamban boxing

CEBU, Philippines - Geo ‘Santino’ Santisima (8-2, 7KOs) of ALA Boxing Gym decimated a more experienced Jerry Nardo (21-9, 11KOs) in second round during the main event of the 1st Mayor Ace Binghay Boxing Extravaganza the other night at the Balamban Sports Complex.

Santisima is now on a tear after also winning his previous four fights via knockouts.

 This time, the 19-year-old Santisima conquered a tougher challenge as he pummeled Nardo who succumbed to his onslaught at the 2:46 mark of the second round.

The Masbate-native Santisima improved to 8-2 win-loss record, spiked with seven stoppages, while Nardo suffered his ninth career loss in 30 fights.

In the supporting bout, Tagbilaran City’s Virgin Vitor escaped with a split decision victory over Renante Suacasa.

In the other results, Raul Yu scored a third TKO against Ronnie Campos, Christian Bacolod annihilated Robert Ates also in the third round as Cris Ganoza mauls Rodante Suacasa in the opening round.  (FREEMAN)
