Aboitiz bootfest resumes in three venues today

CEBU, Philippines - Action in the 17th Aboitiz Football Cup resumes in three venues today.

Games in the boys 15 and 18 will be played at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Abellana National School-Pomeroy and USC-BED both gun for back-to-back victories in the under 18 as they take on separate foes. The other games in the said age group pit Paref-Springdale versus CIC Mandaue and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation against Alcoy FC.

Two under-18 games will also take place at the San Roque Parish field, with CIS going up against ERCO and Benthel Asia facing off with Real Galaxy.

Others seeing action in San Roque are Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu against the University of San Carlos, Springdale versus Tabor Hills, ANS- Pomeroy opposite Mactan Spartans, and SAIS FC versus Guardian Strikers.

Over at the SHS-Ateneo pitch, CIS will take on host-SHS-Ateneo in the lone under-9 match.

In the girls 15, St.Theresa's College battles SHS-AdC and Tabor Hills faces Mactan Spartans, while ERCO aims for its second straight win when it tackles CIS in the girls 18 class.

SRFC also targets two wins in a row when it tangles with SAIS Gannet. The rest of the matches will have Talisay Razkals vs Tayud United, and Tabor Hills FC versus CIC-Mandaue. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (FREEMAN)
