No final results were given yet for athletics as organizers are giving a chance for the student athletes from the mountain barangays to compete after missing yesterday’s game due to absence of communications with the event's status update.

Organizers said that they are not rushing to finish the event after Department of Education Regional office informed the different schools divisions that the staging of the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Regional Meet has been moved from December to February next year.

Cebu City, the host of the CVIRAA, welcomes the development as some playing venues needs to be repaired after a 7.2 earthquake and the more recent super typhoon affected Cebu. (FREEMAN)
