Gaisano Capital South stays at second place

CEBU, Philippines - Kido Cabrera sparkled with 21 points, Cameroonian recruit Arnud Noah chipped in 17 markers and the Gaisano Capital South-UC Webmasters went on to crush Raphael's Cafe, 85-72, in the Enervon CESAFI Partner's Cup 2013 men's basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.

In the other game, Joshua de la Cerna scattered 19 points to power the San Marino Tuna/CIT-U Wildcats to a 90-83 win over the Cebu Landmasters-USC Warriors.

Cabrera spewed fire in the fourth quarter where he scored nine straight points to help Gaisano Capital South mount its biggest lead at 18 points, 82-64, with just two minutes left in the contest.

Gaisano Capital, thus, stayed at second place with as 5-2 win-loss record behind the undefeated Prime Asia Lending-UV Lancers, while Raphael's Cafe slumped to its sixth loss in a row.

San Marino, on the other hand, upped its win-loss card to 3-4, while deadling the Cebu Landmasters to its third setback in seven starts.
