KTCC jins sizzle in Danao tikefest

Kenn Taekwondo Training Center hauled four golds, three silvers and three bronzes in the 007 Regional Age-Group Taekwondo Championships at the Danao City Sports and Civic Center.

Head instructor Kenneth Toledo saw all of his 10 jins in this event going home with a medal each.

The Leudtke brothers, Lenard and Timothy, disposed their respective opponents to win gold medal in their respective divisions.

Lenard Leudtke won the 120-centimeter and below category, while his older brother, Timothy won the 144-152 cm grade school category.

Eight year-old Karla Mae Plantar, on the other hand, finally got the gold denied of her in two previous tournaments.

Plantar displayed superior skills this time to rule the 120 cm- below advance category.

The fourth gold for KTTC was handed over by Kevin Ouano, who reigned supreme in the mid-juniors lightweight category.

The three silver medallists were Ethan Evales in the 120-128 cm category A, Carlos Shan in the 120-128 cm category B and Gabrielle Darza in the 136-144 cm class.

Completing the winners’ lists were Kier Ouano, Anthony Slovak and Christopher Plantar with a bronze medal each. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
