GUV Cup stages Cluster VI elims

Cluster VI defending champion Lapu-Lapu City will be challenged today by four other teams in the resumption of the Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup for Women at the Consolacion Sports Complex.

Lapu- Lapu will meet stiff opposition against Lilo-an, Consolacion, Mandaue and Cordova.

The first match will see Consolacion meeting Cordova at 8:30 followed by Mandaue against Lilo-an.

Consolacion, on the other hand, will try to score one over Lapu-Lapu in the last match in the morning.

At 1 pm, Lilo-an will face Cordova and will be followed by the battle between Mandaue and Consolacion.

Lilo-an will then try to overpower Lapu-Lapu in the last match today.

The games will resume tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning at the Consolacion Sports Complex. - Marigold P. Lebumfacil
